From the serene hills and forests of the Blue Ridge Parkway to the sloping Shenandoah Valley, from the historical northern regions near DC to the Colonial areas of Williamsburg, down to the sunny beaches of Tidewater, Virginia offers visitors and residents a myriad of business and recreational opportunities. Home to more than seven million people, Virginia continues to grow economically and culturally, all the while preserving a sense of history and pride that brings thousands of tourists to the state each year.
Sadly, as noted above, drug addiction remains a challenge in Virginia. According to About.com, marijuana use is especially prevalent, and various counties within the state have reported crackdowns on trafficking and meth labs. In 2005, thirty percent of statewide vehicular fatalities were alcohol related.
Drug addiction is a serious illness taking hold of Virginia residents, and this is part of the reason we make our services available in Virginia. As technology and tourism become a greater part of the state's overall industry, so people may have to endure stress from work and home situations. The temptation to turn to a vice is strong, and addiction turns from a possibility to a reality that must be controlled. The future of Virginia's economy and natural assets depend on her people. The healthier we are, the better off Virginia will be for years to come.
