DO I HAVE TO ATTEND 12-STEP MEETINGS EVERY DAY?
In a word: yes.
It is important for all residents to be introduced to the twelve-step recovery process. Because twelve-step programs are often misunderstood, we take the time to help integrate twelve-step approaches into your recovery and treatment experience. These anonymous programs provide a guideline to living an enjoyable life free of alcohol and drugs.
Please note these are not religious programs, but spiritual programs.  We at Williamsburg Place and the Farley Center believe that life-altering, profound, and deeply personal experiences come from twelve-step programs and that those experiences provide the foundation to begin the journey toward recovery.
Of course, we understand that abstinence for some patients is possible without participation in Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous, but we believe that these programs offer our participants the very best possibility of success.

If you or someone who works for you suffers from drug and/or alcohol addiction,
contact Williamsburg Place today to learn more about our individualized treatment programs.
