Pennsylvania Drug Rehab, Pennsylvania Alcohol Rehab

Pennsylvania is rich in historic lore and a farm culture. It is the state where the Declaration of Independence was signed, where the United States Constitution was drawn up, home of the Liberty Bell, Valley Forge, and Gettysburg. The first oil well in the nation was dug in Titusville, Pennsylvania in 1859. The backbone of Pennsylvania's economy is the 58,000 farms that occupy over 8 million acres of space. The Pennsylvania Dutch area is a place to find some of the best food in the nation as well as a rich culture.

A fact that Pennsylvania would like to change is last year over 60,000 of its citizens were treated for drug and alcohol abuse or addiction. The number of people who are actually suffering from addiction in the state is estimated at a million and a half, or 11% of the population. Eleven percent of the population are the alcohol abusers or drug addicts. That figure doesn't include the number of family members, friends, employers, and co-workers who are affected by the addict's behavior. When those people are included, the numbers swell to nearly 50% of the population who are affected by drug abuse or alcohol abuse.
