ALCOHOL ADDICTION SELF-EVALUATION QUESTIONNAIRE

Turn on the television and you may see an advertisement for beer or an alcoholic beverage. You may see people laughing or enjoying a football, sharing a drink and good times. Indeed, alcohol may play a role at many a social event, but sadly there are times when things can get out of hand with drinking. When drinking becomes a way of life more so than an occasional imbibe, it's time to consider your life's path. At Williamsburg Place and the William J. Farley Center, we understand how difficult it can be for people to come to this reckoning. Some alcoholics may live in denial for a long time, and not realize help is needed before it is too late.

We encourage to study these questions and see how many apply to you and your current lifestyle. If you answer yes to any of them, chances are you have a problem with alcohol addiction that must be addressed.
Please call (800.582.3066) or email us if this is the case. Over five thousand good people just like you already have.

  • When in public or at a party, do you insist on having more than one drink?
  • Do you drink alone often?
  • Do you drink to cope with stress at home and work?
  • Do you find yourself pouring a drink at odd times during the day, like in the morning?
  • Do you sneak a drink during work hours, or have more than one drink over lunch?

  • Have friends or loved ones remarked on any changes in your behavior?
  • Have friends or loved ones ever refused to serve you a drink?
  • Do you often have trouble paying bills or rent because of spending money on alcohol?
  • Do you find yourself having to hide the scent of alcohol on your breath?
  • Do you drink because you feel alone?

Know this: you are never alone! If you have answered yes to any or all of the above questions, now is the time to contact Williamsburg Place at 800-582-6066 to discuss your options. Don't wait to make the call. Get help now.
